HERE ARE SOME TIPS TO FOLLOW FOR QUICK AND EFFICIENT PROCESSING OF YOUR MOTOR CLAIM:-
Report the accident to the company as soon as possible.
Have the vehicles' certificates of registration and fitness, the drivers' licence (both sides)
of the person operating the vehicle, an estimate of repairs and your insurance documents.
In the event of a Total Loss or Theft the Certificate of Title is to be submitted.
Get the names and addresses of two credible, independent witnesses of the accident
(i.e non-passengers).
Get the name(s) and address(es) of any person(s) injured or property damaged as a result of the accident.
Report the accident to the police station nearest to the location of the accident within 24 hours .
Obtain all important information re. the third party:
•name of owner and driver
•address/telephone number
•Insurance Company/Coverage
•vehicle - make/model and registration number
If a police officer is not at the scene, take measurements yourself and have
them verified by the other parties involved, or a credible witness.
DO NOT admit to any persons involved that you are at fault in the accident,or offer to pay
